A Family of Athletes
His older brother is a professional water skier. He is also a coach. Jaret is married to Britta and together they have a son born in 1996 who seems to want to follow in his father’s footsteps. He began water skiing at age 6 and has been practicing in the snow since age 3.
Jaret Llewellyn supports In His Wakes, Cody’s Angels, and Korey’s Krew.
In His Wakes is a non-profit organization that teaches children about water sports and encourages them to practice them. Cody’s Angels is an organization that helps a child named Cody recover from a disease called Sarcoma. Korey’s Krew helps children and young adults with physical disabilities.
Jaret’s favourite quote is that if you don’t go all the way, don’t go at all. It’s something he usually applies as a life statement for everything he does. Both in his competitions and his personal life.
His nickname is the Little Germ. He is a lover of photography, ice hockey, and snow skiing.
Jaret Llewellyn has not only proved to be an exceptional sportsman. He has also proven to be an excellent human being by helping children become more confident through sport.
Canada has yet to see an athlete who surpasses Jaret’s titles. He currently has a YouTube channel where he uploads videos weekly with his family. He is often seen training and motivating his son to be the best in sports. We’ll probably be hearing more about the Llewellyn Legacy soon.
